It was lovely to see those that could make it last Saturday. Shall we get another date in the diary?


I can do this Saturday, although probably a bit soon after the last one, or 9th or 16th October, but if loads are free on 2nd October, feel free to go ahead without me. I am in Amsterdam for a work conference, which as you can imagine I am looking forward to like a hole in the head...

Hi, I emailed about coming on the 18th - had my 10m old nephew to stay and was planning to bring him along. However, turned out to have the night from hell and was just too exhausted to make it, also didn't want to put everyone off with a grumpy little one in tow! (Think I need to build up my energy levels before my baby arrives!)


9th sounds good to me if it's still ok to come along? My baby due mid December, but they're talking about an early delivery so could creep into November - is it still ok to come to this group?

I'm first time pregnant with twins and due in December I would like to join your group but unfortunately I'm unavailable on 9 December as I have a mums to be pregnancy pamper day booked. I would like to join you if/when you arrange another meet up.

I also wondered if people would be interested in making a list like the Autumn Babies Club have, with due dates, flavour (if known) and arrival dates, although a little while to go for that bit!


I will kick off, and if you want to be added, just copy over the list as it increases and add your details, if that makes sense!

Hiya - I am due with number 2 on the 26th of Jan and would love to meet up too! Wish I could have made one of the earlier meet ups but we have always had something on...I am free the next few weekends so it would be great to meet those of you who are around. C

      Hi, a bit late to this thread but I've having the same issue applying for a resident's parking permit for Upland Road. The letter I have from Southwark doesn't even have a phone number on it, so would anyone be able to share the one you used to get this sorted over the phone? Thanks in advance.

      yes, inside looks like a squeeze, we went in early summer and sat outside, really nice way to spend the evening and watch the world (and knackered commuters) go by.  It's time that the tale was told. I'm afraid it was Love Dulwich, which has had some good mentions on here. We only had a mezze and a side dish but the mezze was pretty sad and the side dish wasn't as described on the menu. Maybe other things on offer were better but we've not been inclined to go back.

      Seeking parent-to-be for infant observation

      Good luck with this - there have been several requests over the years by students needing to do infant observations.  I was lucky when I did mine  - way back in 1994 at a local nursery. Have you tried contacting the NCT to see if there are any local groups who would be willing to participate? As a mother of 2 - found the observation very informative - mine was a 2 year old child as my course stated a child under 3. Got my highest grade for this project so was very happy.
