This isn't the blitz or the attack on the ice planet Hoth!

Buses fine going up and down LL, to the Plough and beyond. 40 also seems to be running fine.

I've noticed the bus drivers are driving a little more carefully than usual. None of that screaming brakes nonsense.

I'm setting off from ED to near Tower Bridge at 6pm if anyone wants a lift.

If you're trying to get to LB, it's a 11min walk from where I am parking on South Bermondsey St.

You need to be outside the CPT at 6 when I leave.

looks like last train out from london bridge has gone

Hi all,

good to ear reports of what's going on out there...

As for TFL and they "up to date" information" they were telling me the 37was running fine yesterday and on a normal route - despite me seeing it being diverted with me own eyes.

ROUTE 12: No service between Peckham Rye and Dulwich due to adverse weather conditions.

ROUTE 176: No service between Camberwell and Penge due to adverse weather conditions.

ROUTE 484: Buses are diverted and are not serving Harefield Road,Tressillian Road, Hilly Fields Crescent, Brookbank Road, Shell Road, Vicars Hill or Algernon Road due to adverse weather conditions.

as of 06.42 - apparently

Anyone know how the P13 is doing? I need to get to Sutton (via Tulse Hill) but currently no Southern services to Tulse Hill - I'm wondering whether to attempt to get the bus there to pick up the First Capital Connect service that apparently is still running to Sutton...
all buses are aborting at camberwell ie no. 40 185 176 just got back from a night shift in the city i had to go via peckham high st no 12 then 197 to underhill rd no 12 is not going to dulwich aborting at peckham high st no.37 is the only service running good luck!!!!!
I am looking out my window near Uplands road end of Lordship Lane. Group of people at bus stop have all just given up. I have sat here at my window for ten mins and no buses have gone by...

    • It doesn't matter what channel it was on, how pernicious the subject is and when it happened. Mis-representing the truth in broadcast is not only morally wrong, it's against the OFCOM code of ethics.  Everyone in the industry is trained in how not to do it, most are made to take the BBC's own 'Safeguarding the Trust' course, even if they aren't making BBC programmes.  There wasn't much fuss at the time, because no one knew about it.  "Unless you hate Britain, hate liberals, hate the BBC, want a divided country, support the most powerful person in the world despite his many failings". What the programme makers personally think or feel should never affect how they tell a story; to do so is deeply unprofessional and a sackable offence.  It's the job of the BBC and of all programming to inform viewers of the facts and let them make up their own minds. Even in campaigning documentaries.
    • Hadn't realised that the Panorama programme that people are up in arms about was over a year ago.  There wasn't much fuss at the time so why drag it up.  Unless you hate Britain, hate liberals, hate the BBC, want a divided country, support the most powerful person in the world despite his many failings. The programme was clumsy, but the vast majority of us know that Trump had an influence.  So the Telegraph has played into his hands.
    • I tried a Lime bike once, too heavy and bulky for me but I understand that many really like them.  And very much support the concept.
