Hello Jenayr

Yes please do come down for the drinks! We hardly knew anyone in the area when we moved here. But I went to my first ever EDF drinks, a few weeks after moving here.

And after that I met loads of friends and neighbours inc Ladymuck ;-))

in the local area.

Lots of familiar faces that you start recognising when out and about!

Hope to see you there!

Oh do excuse Mick Mac, Virginia. His humour is drier than a baby's bum liberally sprinkled with talcum powder.

The EDF drinks is simply a gathering of forumites - over a pint or six.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along. They are great fun.

Lady Muck, Hibbs & Mazza.....Cathy...Guy?

Well done for today! Julia & I will be joining you guys on Friday, as Hibbs knows, becareful as Julia may have all your drinks group doing lunges & squats in between rounds! I hope I don't get a reputation as the ECG (E'dulwich Cycle Group) will be in the EDF the evening before on Thursday planning the next lot of rides.

Looking forward to meeting the rest of your team!

PLH

Best do!

If you look at Nadia Sawalha, Julia had her shaped up in 3-months and with a tiny waist! Infact, they are doing the London Marathon this year. And if you met Lorraine acouple of weeks back on the Rye fitness group, she lost 3-stone! So beware, Julia will have you lunging to the bar and doing tri dips at the bar.

Honestly, she is so grounded and funny - she will talk about anything but exercise unless you ask :-)

    • It was a weird place, and there never seemed to be many people in it. Stalls/selling areas (they  weren't really stalls as such) came and went. For a while there was an area upstairs as well. Around the beginning of ED  gentrification,  someone opened a champagne bar near the entrance. I think it also sold oysters, though there was another oyster place in the market, possibly not at the same time. Whether it did or not, unsurprisingly it didn't last long. I can't imagine they had done any market research, or even wondered why anybody would want to drink champagne in that kind of environment. I'm not sure an indoor market would work now, but what do I know. It would depend on what it sold and whether people wanted what it sold, I suppose. It wouldn't get much passing trade in Zenoria Street, so it would have to be very well advertised.
    • Guacamoles in Rye Lane market for pretty authentic Tacos  Ganapati on Holly Grove has some of the best south Indian  food in London - light, aromatic fresh, home style cooking - lovely location and people too. Forzawine is fun for a rooftop terrace, great view, cocktails and good small plates
    • Someone to carve Dulwich posts.  Any recommendations?
    • Hello, is anyone looking to sell their car? I’m looking for a reliable runaround and finding a lot of spam/scammers on other sites, so thought I would put the word out more locally thanks.
