I will. I'll even re-enact it for them.

There's been some re-runs of The Sweeney on TV recently.

Remember watching The Sweeney with my Dad and sisters many years ago!

After spotting an actor at Brixton tube during the past 6 months or so I've just realised it's an actor from The Sweeney but can't put a name to the face.

Dark hair, looks a bit like Patrick McGowan but I can't put a name to him.

Sorry just remembered this is for Sainsburys sightings!

That is bugaboo owners for you...

I've seen Miss Broom (sorry can't call her Karen - like calling your teacher by their first name!)

several times over the years am sure I've even seen her when I've been at work in A&E, but never said hello as do feel bit starstruck, especially as she still looks exactly the same as I remember her

in Johnny Briggs. A few years off, but I live in fear of overhearing bugglet saying "My Mum, who's a nurse..." :)

Then really DB&B the only correct thing to is to remove your post.

Though you did resist the 's at the end of Sainsbury, which is more than Sainsbury's have done - kowtowed to populism in my hardy opinion, so they have.

Actually you're alright, ignore my first sentence, you're a good cat.

Might copy this to the Old Fogies thread, though but.

Why sorry DB&B? Not sorry to me surely?

Though I reproved you initially, I talked myself round and saw the good in you.

To the extent of bestowing upon you the compliment of being a 'good cat'.

So 'no harm no foul', as any fule kno.

Peace.

    • Rather than zero tolerance, a term I should have not used, I should have referred to crime,  No crime (excluding some things which really should not be criminalised) should be tolerated (albeit the reaction to a naughty 13 year old will be different to a violent criminal, and similarly those with mental health issues there will be some flexibility), I' was talking zero crime, which is impossible. New York was vastly improved, what happened to that wonderful Giuliani chap? US is not a role model of course, homicides per head dwarf the UK; the damage that white flight and the desolation of inner cities that happened to  many places such as Baltimore, Washington DC and Detroit is difficult to turn round Much rather move this debate to the Lounge!

The team have been short  staffed for a number of months as one officer was injured trying to arrest a shoplifter - unfortunately the shoplifter got away but the officer was left with fractures. We regularly see one or two of the police team around the Dulwich Hill area (they were recently in Landells Road)  Dulwich Hill SNT are hoping to resume their Cuppa with a Copper sessions but are frequently asked to support colleagues policing the various protest marches.  The next Dulwich Hill SNT meeting is scheduled for December (date to be confirmed) The attack on the young woman would come under the Goose Green SNT.
