Perhaps we should alternate week nights with weekends? Inevitably some people will have preferences.

Maybe the next one in a few weeks time (mid-Feb)?

Would people prefer another venue? - Huguenot did announce that the Black Cherry was a "girls bar" and that he went in there regularly.......

Would the BC be that good alernative?

How about week commencing 19/2?

I think that having it on different nights would be good, differnt people have different other engagements.

I would quite like Fridays as there is less unmissable things happen that night. How about Fri 16 Feb.

Of course people who value their (photographic) privacy might prefer a date I am busy :)

24th wpould be good for me! Would the BC Be a little small? I think now that word has got out and that quite a few of us could not make the last one. I feel that this one will have a geater reponse. This may be a little contravercial, but what about the EDT? Ive never really been that into the EDT since it had a face lift. However, it would be able to handle the huge response we WILL get.

Nice work Georgia.

It is of course open to allcomers. Last time we had about a dozen in total, only half of whom were forum regulars.

Of course reading the forum helps in finding out about it in the first place ;?)

I look forward to meeting you Dany and the rest that couldn't make it last time.

    • Callout for help from any local experts here. Looking to find out more about the history of the property on the corner of Whateley Road and Ulverscroft road (with the green glazed bricks). Now a residential property, i'm told it was a bottle shop in days gone (the house was built around 1900) by and i'd like to learn more about the history of the business that was once here - name, photos, anything at all really! Seems to be very little from open source research so i'm hoping anyone with history in the area can provide any insight!  Starting here before i contact Southwark Archives or similar orgs to get any information and pictures (any advice here also would be welcome). Thank you
    • Portable ramps are available for businesses to use in this sort of situation, aren't they? I don't know whether one would be suitable for use here, or whether they have the space to store one. Lots of people have  permanent or temporary disabilities which mean they have to use crutches or a wheelchair.
