Funily enough I was wondering of there is a market for a speed ironing service. You drop off your items at mine,, and go shopping in sainsburys, and collect about half an hour later. ?2 per item, minimum 10 items.

Would anyone here take that up as a service? Means I get paid to watch the telly....

just finished with season three of teh new Battlestar Galactica. Possibly teh best TV show I have seen ever ... Cannot wait for teh new saeson, shjowing now in teh states ... Gonna go back to teh darkside of Murdoch and get Sky so i can watch it (yes, I am that sad!)

The Lady Vanishes, for the umpteenth time. For my money, Hitchcock's best British flick.

Nothing wrong with a bit of Flash Gordon Bob! Appparently, people still shout "Gordon's alive!" at Brian Blessed. I don't think I could resist if I saw him in the street.

    • Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?
