It ended up as a 1-1 draw, so Dulwich slip to 6th and out of the play-off places for the first time since September....

Nevertheless, it's still been a great year considering it was the first season back in the Premier Division. The crowd of 1,388 shows the potential that the club has to keep pushing on.

There will be a player awards evening at the ground on Saturday 10th May (7.00pm) to say thanks to the players - free entry and food. Details to follow.

Thanks for sharing those pics. The match was against Walthamstow Avenue in 1986/7. That was the only season we wore pink shorts and Avenue finished bottom and we never played them again as they amalgamated with Leytonstone-Ilford, eventually renaming themselves Redbridge Forest before amalgamating with Dagenham, to form the club now playing in the Football League. Avenue are wearing their away kit. (Their traditional colours were sky & navy hoops.) The Hamlet players in the first picture are Stokley Sawyers (no.10) and Paul Williams, who played one League match for Chelsea as a youngster. From memory it was Sawyers' debut for the club and they both scored an a game Hamlet won 5-2.

    • I would add that the significantly increased event structure of last year, with trackway everywhere as well as the huge metal barriers, completely changes the feel of the park. I agree with Fishboy that there is a convenient blending of park with the Common, to give the impression that only a small section is used.    I still do not understand why this event cannot be moved wholesale to the Common. It would be closer to transport hubs and all other events seem to take place on the Common.
    • So - after spending weeks lying about everyone else, not to mention yesterday’s disgusting comments about Rob Reiner, Trump is officially suing BBC for 10 billion  the gall of that creature.  And anyone who defends him.  He cares nothing about “truth” Telegraph/guardian/times all reporting 10 billion.   However in bbc  news they are saying 5.  Hmmmmm
    • Piotr and his team just completed our ensuite and we couldn’t be happier. They were a lovely team to have around and took great care with protection and clean-up every day. Communication was great and there were no nasty surprises with the final invoice despite a few challenges with the room along the way. The standard of work is incredible. We still can’t believe this room is in our house!
