I just don't get Coyle's decision? I mean he may be getting offered more money and a bigger transfer kitty, but it can't be by that much. His reputation whilst at Burnley was very good and he looked like he could be going places. He's taken quite a big risk with this move.

What a card you are, did you stay up all night writing this, or was it written for you? Hilarious, give up your day job and become a script writer, you clearly have a huge talent for it.

Sorry, really can't let this one go. Bentley has been living off that goal against Arsenal ever since and it was way back in October of 2008. What's he done since then? Fack all!

Who would you take out of the current Spurs midfield to accomodate him? That's Lennon, Huddlestone, Palacious and Kranjcar who are all playing really well at the moment and deserve their place in the team that's also bearing in mind you've still got Modric and Jenas waiting in the wings trying to get in there too. And we've not conceded a goal in five games either.

I didn't say I'd take anyone out of the team to accomodate him. I simply pointed out that he's a good player. His main problem is he lacks motivation. You've just pointed out what a task he'd have to displace some of those players. He knows he'll never get the chance with Harry so I guess his attitude may be why bother. It's a shame as it's not like Huddlestone and Jenas have always pulled up trees over last two seasons yet they always know they'll get opportunities evern if they play badly. Enough Bentley bashing.

Come on isn't that a very poor attitude to have. He should be busting a gut to get into the team. Unfortunately, he isn't. You know as well as I do no one has a divine right to play. You have to earn your place.

Anyway, I think we've got a really good chance of winning at Anfield this weekend. Come on you Spurs!

I agree that players should bust a gut and I also agree about Jamie O'Hara. I was sad to see Harry let him go on loan as he certainly always did a job for us in a number of positions. I just think that sometimes a player can get branded as arrogant or hard to handle and they find it difficult to rebuild their reputation no matter how hard they try. He really does not get many opportunities under Harry to put anything right. Anyway, enough about Bentley..I agree about the game at Anfield., weather permitting.

COME ON YOU LILYWHITES !!!

The news coming out of Angola regarding the attack on the Togolese team bus is shocking and saddening. The driver has been killed a couple of the players injured. How, and who made the decision to Angola. Will the African cup of nations be cancelled. Well ask yourself this, what happened after Israeli athletes were murdered at the 1972 Munich games, what happened after Heysel, & Hillsbrough, were the relevant events cancelled? For the love of Pete.

    • We did London to Avignon, which was a dream - changed at Lille and the journey south was smooth and so much more relaxing and scenic than the inside of an airport / Easy jet plane. I'd thoroughly recommend it.
    • That looks like a dahlia tuber.   The clumpy, swollen shape with sprouting white roots is typical of dahlia tubers that have overwintered in the ground. They often look a bit mutant or alien, especially when several tubers fuse together or grow in odd directions.   If you dug it up from your garden and it’s not slimy or rotten, it’s probably still viable. You can pot it up or plant it directly in the ground once the risk of frost is gone. Keep the knobbly end (where the stem was) just at or slightly below the surface and water it in.   If you’re unsure, you can leave it somewhere warm and bright for a bit and see if shoots appear. That’ll confirm it’s a living dahlia and not some rogue tuber trying to cause confusion.
    • Sam did a great job of restoring our rather weather beaten and rotten external wooden doors and facia board. highly skilled and very reliable. would definitely recommend
