Ted Max
Own should never have gone to Real Madrid. The harder pitches were no good for his hamstrings. Sandperson
Hmm, Giggs out for four weeks. Rio banned. Nani banned. Vidic still not fit. Could be a good few weeks for Arsenal or Chelsea. matthew123
I take the poor performances as part of the course Jah - but our 2nd half display was well above our usual standard.Arsenal call 60K attendance every game but I think that is based on tickets/seasons sold than turnstile clicks. Atila Reincarnate
I see the Hammers had around 34,000 at their game last night. Interesting that our youth team pulls the same sort of number to FA youth cup games at home. Nail on the head indeed. ruffers
And Nani three matches, and Giggs four weeks. And Terry's head not there, he looked poor last night. Maybe still a chance for Arsenal...? Or even someone else? Imagine that!So Ashley Cole's first game back is England's first game in South Africa? Oo-er. SimonM
I think Capello is pragmatic enough to write Cole out of the World Cup finals if he really takes 3 months to recover. So perhaps an opportunity for someone to make a name for himself? ruffers
Well, Bridge has said he wants to carry on playing for England and "isn't that childish" (I believe that's the quote).Barry can do it, maybe Leighton Baines? He also played a key role in demolishing arsenal at Emirates.I suspect he will be a key player for Capello and as usual (english fingers crossed) the 3 months is conservative and he will be fit before then. ratty
Here is something to think about. When Pompey go out of business, how many points do your team lose?? kpc
They should make Season 6 of The Wire around the Pompey money trail. It's got everything you need with the various factions - there's even a role for Sol. I can just see Lester Freamon studiously looking at their faces pinned to the board.
