3-2-1... back in the room.

I'm deeply disturbed by this David Bowie/Arsenal association. It's not everyday you find out that one of your heroes (see what I did there) might be a closet Gooner.

I've met Pat Jennings too on a few occasions at White Hart Lane and he's Tottenham through and through. Lovely fella. Hands like shovels.

Jimmy..

( your stocking garter is showing BTW )

Atila is taking some well earned R & R

He needs no further provocation on here during his " sabaticle "

I understand that you support The Tottenham Hotspurs Football Team

Well I am a fan of The Arsenal Football Team ,so any further barbed jabs in the supporter/antagonism stakes can be directed here

To me

Thank you in anticipation

Chelsea at home. We lost at Stamford Bridge already.

Liverpool have beaten United the last 3 times and if everyone is fit I'd expect them to beat United again. The games against Everton and United seem to really focus Rafa on the task in hand and he rarely makes mistakes in team selection for these very important fixtures - plus the players are able to self-motivate themselves in this kind of game.

The Chelsea game is the final home fixture of the season for Liverpool on the penultimate weekend of the season.

OK Mr. Lush, I'll admit that Liverpool are generally (in my not so humble opinion;-)) the only serious rival to my beloved Man. U...but last year was last year...things are not exactly looking bright red for OrganPond at the mo...are they now?

    • I'd get rid of duty free shopping.  Nothing to do with tourist tax but something I hate.  All that glitz as you try to get through to Wetherspoons in the departure lounge.  No great savings over on line or even at times supermarkets, and the hypocrisy of selling cheap cancer sticks. Ok back to tourist tax
    • If anyone is thinking of traveling a bit more and would like to supplement their trip by picking up a few family heirlooms from various ailing maiden aunts of mine, please drop me a private message. I'm particularly interested in anyone who is considering Colombia & Bolivia, The Golden Triangle region of South East Asia, Andalusia & North Africa or Rotterdam. And Liverpool.
    • Wow I had no idea they give you 5% in perfume for your accommodation. You're right, I need to travel more.
    • Do none of you go abroad.  Tourist taxes are really common in continental Europe and do vary a lot city by city. They are collected by the hotels/rental apartments. They are usually a  tiny part of your holiday costs.  In Narbonne recently we paid €1.30 per person per night.  The next town we went to charge 80 cents per person per night. By comparison Cologne is 5% of your accomodation.
