I counted about 38 players (betfair) who are odds on to be on the plane!

I'd say at least one of Rooney, Gerrard and Ferdinand will break down before end of season and require surgery.

*again obviously refers to the fitness governing our chances, rather than to England doing well, which is now two decades hence.

Mourinho would be a suprising choice for Madrid for a variety of reasons. From his part would he really want to be the coach at a club where he doesn't even make all the decisions regarding team selection and transfers? From Madrid's point of view his brand of football is not attractive to watch. They sacked Capello, who won the league in his one season with them, for that reason.
