Sullivan was on the radio this morning and stated they would be keeping Zola.

Isn't "we are 100% behind him" usually followed by him stating "I will spend more tmie with my family"

It's one of those universal unwritten rules.

Does that mean I've broken a universal law? damn.

and for gods sake (half of) sheffield. Get that damn greasy chip butty off your shoulder!! You were shit and you went down. A bit like us.

You missed a further trick Simon - our last game of the season is Man City...a Tevez goal could send us down

Ruffers - it was just before a World Cup maybe...I think 1986? I remember we all went on the pitch at the end and chanted "You'll be back, you'll be back" at the City fans in the Southbank who clapped back before a big joint chorus of "Ingerland", a bit of mutual respect.

Am i seeing things. Celtic lose 4-0 to st mirren?

In many ways im pleased as surely now tony mowbray must have no future at the club beyond this season.

Reminds me of the night celtic lost to caley thistle and john barnes went the next day.

I thought TM was a poor choice as a manager who was relegated in his last role. You must aim higher than that.

Sparks will fly at celtic tomorrow. The manager noone wanted should leave.

nights don't get too much better than that for spurs fans

a systematic dismantling of fulham to set up a wembley semi against portsmouth who can't use their best player cos he's a spurs player

villa drawing at home against sunderland and citeh losing at home to everton

oh and mankini and moyes getting sent off for wrestling

a hearty LOL

Mine too and even then I thought it was funny. Tonight I feel relieved as I feel sure its the end of TM. I could not take another season of him and hope the board feel the same.

The manager is the most important man at any club and they made a really poor choice. Also however I'm amazed that some ex celtic players don't want the job.

Mick McCarthy might be the best available. I think he would take it.

But I think after Martin ONeill Celtic were a respected team in Europe and they should have aimed high and spent big for his replacement. Gordon Strachan did very well but was a step down from ONeill and once you take one step down the next will not be far away and so it proved, now Celtic are pretty much a joke and its a long way back from here but the biggest step is to get a better manager in, soon.

Yes, but it's usually when the year ends in one.

Two years in a row would be good though. Hmmm... There was of course FA Cup glory in '61 & '62 and '81 & '82.

Great atmosphere at the Lane tonight and with Citeh losing and Villa dropping points too made it even sweeter.

    • As I said, it was my understanding. I worded it very carefully. I didn't/don't know for sure, so clearly not a fact. And hardly an "opinion", which is something completely different. You have no idea what reason anybody might have had for not voting for him (unless you can point to some opinion poll results which actually asked people?)
    • Also, just to add, the threat to kill someone's dog and try to kick it, is an additional extremely unpleasant layer. I have noticed a lot of the burst water balloons lying around in the park too- that is not great for the environment either.
    • I’m basing it on the fact that Jeremy Corbyn had repeatedly and on record said he is against mandatory vaccinations in any situation, and he wouldn’t disclose wether he had the Covid vaccine himself    as I said. Not as bad as his brother but very definitely a bit weird about the whole thing. Just say you had the vaccination Jeremy, say that everyone should and stop being weird in the middle of a global pandemic    it’s the same slippery evasive nonsense about Brexit and him. About Putin poisonings and him.     if you are happy with his evasiveness then you do you.  But there is a reason the country wouldn’t get behind him
