Doesn't matter who Bale is up against he'll skin 'em anyway. He's in the form of his life at the moment.

I'll quite happily settle for a point at Old Trafford tomorrow but what worries me is that for the first time in my life I want Arsenal to win tomorrow. Can't have those nouveau riche upstarts grabbing 4th spot.

Although it is of course worth mentioning that Steve Finnan had him in his pocket for 120 minutes 2 weeks ago!

Try being United atm. We want Arsenal to win against City AND Liverpool to beat Chelsea. I get indigestion just thinking about it. :))

On second thoughts...you can keep him! :))

C'mon Stoke!

Evra was pretty useless defensively when he arrived at United now look at him, probably best left back in country after Ashley Cole. Bale reminds me of Riise, great going forward but a little slow on the turn.. and it appears a bit of a ball watcher judging by Nani's goal.

Looks like Chelsea have got it sown up against Stoke - 3-0 HT.

Next weekend will be interesting particularly if Spurs/Villa/City all drop points otherwise I think United will find it more difficult at Sunderland to pick up a win.

    • My mum (91 years young!) well remembers going to Austin's as a child, which she described as an 'Aladdin's Cave'!  She absolutely loved it - and is still a shopping fiend to this day (I 'blame' Austin's 😉). Going back up Peckham Rye, passing Austin's on your right hand-side, just past Phillips Walk (so not far from Austin's at all), I believe there was a British Relay Wireless shop - this would have been in the late 1930s/early 1940s.  Does anyone know anything about this? My grandad (my mum's dad) used to manage it; it was severely damaged in The Blitz - but I am having trouble locating it.  Mum's memory is dim (she was 6 at the time); she originally thought it was in Rye Lane, but we think now it was in Peckham Rye just up from Phillips Walk (originally Phillips Road).
    • Thanks everyone, this will need to be reported again as the fox was still mobile and walking down the road when last seen... hopefully someone will spot and report.
