Lets hope they have never played on grass before...


Interesting that Harry Rednapp said Spurs have a plastic pitch at their training ground but that "the lads refuse to play on it". Maybe a bit of practice over the last couple of weeks would not have gone amiss.


I presume UEFA only allow them in european competition where the league/country in which the team is playing requires an all weather surface due to adverse weather eg russia, switzerland etc.

Half the Brazilian team honed their skills with no shoes kicking cans around. No excuses.

Spurs fans are going to have to swallow their pride, on last night's evidence they need Gallas.

I'm sure and hope Spurs go through, but in the group stages they will face a lot more cuter teams than YBB, their defence just doesn't look up to it when Ledley isn't playing.

Apparently Shay Given has chosen Celtic and its up to the clubs to make it happen for him. Here's hoping they can do it. A good keeper makes a massive difference to a team. Gordon Strachan's team would have struggled to win anything without Boruc and we need a good replacement.

    • Surely that depends on the amount.  It can be quite piffling.

    • I was not suggesting anything else!   I'm not sure how you interpret what I said  as "irrelevant"? I was responding to a post saying that Corbyn was "unelectable". My point was that a  large number  of the electorate  voted for him!
