Annasfield
Well, I've been a bit smiley (like I've a coathanger stuck in my gob). The fact I'm off to our match v Braga for a few days from Weds obviously helps. The highlight of yesterday was the Kop singing Happy Birthday to King Kenny. "Boss!!" Jah Lush
Enough of this Liverpool - Man Utd guff. The Wolves v Spurs match was far more entertaining and a fitting tribute to Dean Richards who died at the tender age of 36. The tributes before the game the minute's applause from both sets of fans brought a tear to my eye. It was emotional stuff. Keef
Indeed Jah, and I meant to say earlier, that even though I'm not a particularly big fan of his, Defoe's second goal was absolute class. Mick Mac
Only Nani knows how painful it was (or not) as that steel stud banged into his shin bone. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/309/#findComment-488564 Share on other sites
Keef
Well quite, and I was going to say something similar. Perhaps I am being uncharitable, but equally, Narnia can't possibly know that he was in shock, or that adrenalin gave him the energy to complain to the ref, before the pain took over, and he collapsed. matthew123
LOL 'collapsed' ? He was in so much shock he punched the turf when they were sticking him on stretcher! No Nani has cried wolf enough times... what goes round comes around. No sympathy from me for that prancing prima donna. From the non photoshop pictures that I havd seen of the injury looks nothing more than a scratch. Time to move on. Narnia
Trust the xenophobes on here to make more of a meal about big girls from abroad 'falling down' than a local dirty playing hero. Keef
Are you calling me xenophobic Narnia? That is quite an accusation you're throwing around there. And for the record, I never said Carra shouldn't have been sent off.Lets forget Nani, Carra, and Raphael. Liverpool won, end of. Emerson Crane
Can't see the Arsenal getting a result in the camp nou tonight, so please Le Boss don't risk Cesc and RVP. Save them for the FA cup tie and for the league. With the loss of fabregas they fell away at a crucial time, all for chasing a lost cause against Barca (having lost heavily in the first leg). I'm afraid Wenger wants to fill that gap in his record by winning the CL. So I'd expect your plea will fall on deaf ears. Keef
Surely he's bound to risk them. I know what you're saying, but having come this far, surely he'll want to give it the best shot he possibly can.I thought Cesc was pretty likely to be fit for it anyway?
