I have to agree, I think the girl irritates me more than her brother though, its that grin and figgityness and jumping about, drives me potty. I like Rydian at the mo although Nicki is a very good singer, opinions change each week, but they are certainly scraping the barrel at the mo.

I have two major issues with the finalists:

1) Too many acts that sound like musical theatre. Do people really want pop stars that sound like they should be singing The Phantom of the Opera? There IS a place for them... on stage. For Chrissakes.

2) Too much focus on how well they can sing and too little on how attractive they are! The dinner lady has a fantastic voice but she looks like a dinner lady. Who is going to buy her records?

SD girl has funny legs. Slightly too far apart and straight all the way down. They look like Bod's legs.

Her brother looks like a children's TV presenter on crack.

Rhydian's eyes are far too close together. Any closer and they'd be a Venn Diagram.

Leon can't sing and has to wobble his entire body to get any sort of vibrato in his voice. And he just looks a bit dirty. Like he hasn't washed properly.

But music was the real winner.

I quite liked Same Difference. Watching a woman that could out-camp most Gay men was a sort of pleasure. Not sure there was any jiggy jiggy going on, it doesn't really bare thinging about.

Rhydian was a bit of a freak, but at least had some prescence, in a sort of sub-Liberace meets Evangelist Preacher way.

Leon just seemed malnourished. Surely, there is something the make-up crew could have done with those shadows under his eyes.

    • Second time Aria has completed a plumbing job for me and both times he’s been polite. Communicative, kept to time and completed the job. He’s very helpful and tidy as well. First job was ball valve in water tank, not easy at all. He and his team were fantastic. This time kitchen tap cylinders replaced and tap tightened.  Much appreciated, Aria thank you.
    • Thought others may be interested to help a local community centre help others.    My bank account offers roundup and it’s been growing all year. As well as treating myself or putting it towards a train ticket to see my family I’ve made a donation to the Albrighton. They can use donations at any time but I hope my donation will go towards the Christmas hampers.    Can you support them so they can provide Christmas hampers?   https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/albrightoncommunityfridge?utm_id=1&utm_term=M22JKQb6W   A donation of £50 will pay for a hamper to feed a family over this Christmas period. A donation of £30 will pay for a hamper to feed someone living on their own over the Christmas period.
    • I've never got Christmas pudding. The only times I've managed to make it vaguely acceptable to people is thus: Buy a really tiny one when it's remaindered in Tesco's. They confound carbon dating, so the yellow labelled stuff at 75% off on Boxing Day will keep you going for years. Chop it up and soak it in Stones Ginger Wine and left over Scotch. Mix it in with a decent vanilla ice cream. It's like a festive Rum 'n' Raisin. Or: Stick a couple in a demijohn of Aldi vodka and serve it to guests, accompanied by 'The Party's Over' by Johnny Mathis when people simply won't leave your flat.
