Meet New People In East Dulwich

Hi everyone,

I can see this thread goes way back! However, I've just moved to East Dulwich and would love to meet some new people as I don't really know anyone in the area. I'm 27 and most of my friends are scattered round London but sadly none of them here. If anyone is planning another meet up at the pub then let me know as I'd love to come along. The EDT or indeed anywhere on Lordship Lane is really convenient for me. Perhaps next week sometime? Cassandra xx

Ok, I'm going to be brave! I've been following this thread and keep meaning to join but chicken out! Would love to meet new people too. Am 35 year old single mum who has not long ago moved back to area and don't know many people anymore. Would love to meet up if it is going ahead this Thursday at 8pm if there are still people going?

    • I'd try the Dulwich Village or "North Dulwich Triangle" forums for more local knowledge but I don't think those areas compare to Abeville Road at all. It will be quite a different lifestyle.
    • Yes, Dulwich Village commands a premium and justifiably so given access to the City via London Bridge plus the top rate schools within walking distance.  The bus services are really good also - 37, 42 and P4. The P4 is useful for connecting to the Victoria line at Brixton. It's worthwhile waiting for the right property. I know of one which will be coming on the market in a few weeks - 4 bedrooms and south facing garden circa £2.5m.
    • This is an utterly foolish and alarmist statement, completely at odds with reality.
    • I realise this is highly unlikely, but if anyone has a colour laser printer in very good working order, I'd be delighted to take it off your hands!
