I think they're all very variable, but Dulwich Tandoori (not Tandoori Nights) would get my overall vote if you're looking for a curry type dish.

Indian Mischief if you're looking for more interesting Indian food.

But if I was looking for quality Indian food round here I'd avoid Lordship Lane and walk the ten or so minutes to Ganapati ....

Very dissapointed with Dulwich Tandoori buffet a couple of weeks ago. Normally fine but they seemed to have changed a few things(maybe a different Chef) Chefs Special and meat curry (which was previously Lamb) tasted a bit strange. Hoping they are back to normal next time we visit :-(

I have tried every curry house on lordship lane, and I absolutely swear by Surma.

Each to their own of course, but it really is a high quality Indian.... Eat in or takeout. My mates from other areas who come to ED are fascinated by it too.

I would never touch Mirash ever again....I had the worst food poisoning of my life from there and spent 3 days doubled in agony and ruined a valentines day!!!

    • A long overdue review for Niko who we have used a number of times over the years, sometimes to properly finish a job that other plumbers have not done properly. He thinks of everything! I only ever use another plumber if it's urgent and Niko is away. A really kind and thoughtful man and totally trustworthy

The coding session would be good but you need to book well in advance. Also grandson has been doing coding since 6 years old. He now has a 'mentoring role' at his primary school as his knowledge of this subject is years above his chronological age. Dates are still up in the air as their father is trying to juggle leave from a new job in the north of the country.
    • why not have a pasty shop - we could have Cornish pasties, Jamaican patties, empanadas from all the different regions.... I like all three.  I'm still going to support the Chacarero family business, as I don't support chains, just as I don't buy anything from Gail's, Nero, Starbucks etc.
