Well we do go to the plough for the irish sports, but I have to draw the line at the pool side bar (makes it sound so glamorous)

*as an aside firefox' spelling nagging feature thinks plough should be spelt slough*

*as an extra aside it thinks spelt should be spelt smelt, weirdo*

*third aside - don't you mean the Castle?*

I had forgotten them. Lets face it, I'd have to pass far to many pubs/bars to ever get get to the Plough (even if I wanted to). Don't mind the castle sooooo much, but as Mockney says, playing pool there may be be going to far!

Off home now, am looking forward to finding out who (collectively) I am tomorrow :))

Hmm, 'bell-ends' doesn't sound like a very neighbourly expression to me...

I wonder how the lovely people of ED would react to being termed East Dullards?

As a proud Peckham resident from the Bellenden area (and at the same time a fan of what ED/LL has to offer) I feel it would be nice if everyone can enjoy happy, friendly nicknames - no?

Haha! It's a nickname that was given to me by some colleagues when I was younger and more spirited - I don't think on the basis of anything scary, just stupid things like doing one-armed press-ups on the studio floor.... (actually this sounds pretty scary/stupid, but it was harmless fun, honest - and I'm actually not at all macho, quite the opposite in fact).

Anyway, these days the only exercise I get is hugging and dancing with my 3 month old baby daughter (who I think has inherited some of my marauding genes - oh dear!)

Apologies in any case shambles, for my inappropriate personal nickname... :)

Consulted my grand daughter, who examined my foot and advised that verruca was very small and looked as though it would go away itself. She checked my feet a couple of months later - no sign of a verruca.
