Was walking past there earlier today and saw the owner chatting to the painter. I can't say I like this shade of green but then I rather liked the purple. This is easily my favourite pub in the area and my venue of choice to watch the footy, another big plus is that all the staff are lovely.

Obviously it's needed doing up for quite some time now. Hopefully they'll give it a little lick of paint inside as well and cover up the few cracks with a bit of plaster. I'm up for the jukebox in the corner as well.

standing outside the CPT the other day, aving a cigarette. A couple of girls were walking past. They stopped to have a look at the sign saying NO this and that. One of them said 'right, so no one's allowed in there then'. And they carried on walking!!!!!

'Beggars can't be choosers' come to mind

    • This might be a better picture.
    • I don't think anyone would object to the examples you have given being given space in the noticeboard (Theatre Peckham is a registered charity) and I think reflect the original intentions behind their introduction. I would not like to see advertisements for purely commercial enterprises e.g yoga studios, cafes, tradesmen which would not be in keeping with the original purpose.
    • Multiple complaints and reports of the leak but no barrier as of 4.30pm today. Shockingly bad form especially as they had TW engineers on site across the road this morning. Fix one, another bursts. Lots of residents without water in this hot weather, just terrible...
    • I agree... perhaps you could also write to our local councillors to point these things out. Never know they might actually reply! Thanks for your help speaking to Monica. She may hopefully have useful contacts re obtaining a key. Completely agree - what's on (which could include some small businesses  such as Theatre Peckham, which I think may be a charity or at least community not for profit? And school fairs type thing..) plus anything the community would find useful, such as free events for the elderly (LinkAge are active in ED and surrounding areas) and lots more.
