Hi everyone we shall be officially opening as The Cherry Tree on thursday the 30th.

All are welcome to come and see what we've down to the place and what the pub can offer to the community.

We shall be open prior to this, but with work still happening and the old guard stil in place.

Once again thanks for all the positive input.

Chris & Antonia.

JUMPERS. COATS. BLANKETS.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

*head explodes*

Perhaps not, but it should. Heating up the outside rather than putting a coat on is indefensible, whichever way you look at it.

And I have no truck with smokers' persecution complex either. If your coat's warm enough to get you to the pub, it's also warm enough for sitting / standing outside the pub.

Dear Cherry Tree - don't give in to the environmental vandals. If they're really such delicate flowers that their coats aren't enough, give them blankets!

I read somewhere that Edinburgh is doing this next year? Charges of this kind are becoming common around the world. I think it absolutely makes sense for Southwark and other boroughs are bound to follow.
