Hi - I would be keen to meet tomorrow. Was thinking of doing power-pramming after the Summer club meet (it starts at 12:30pm from Peckham Rye cafe). So 11.30pm at the cafe and then power-pramming for anyone that fancies it?

Hi Ladies,

I am a first timer mum of the spring babies club and my little son is now 3 months.

I ve just created a dance group for mummies and babies in which I think some of you might be interested.

So if you have had your 6 weeks post natal check and wish to share a bonding moment with your LO, get back into shape in a fun atmosphere, meet other mums in your area and introduce your baby to rhythms and dance, check this :

I hope to have the pleasure to meet some of you very soon!!

have a lovely sunday,

AnGlo

Hey - just wondered whether anyone fancied going to the baby and cinema club at the Ritzy on Friday? It's at 11am and they are showing the new Richard Curtis romcom "About Time" - the mum and baby club is aptly called "the Big Scream" and it basically means people can take their babas to the cinema. Check it out here: http://www.picturehouses.co.uk/cinema/Ritzy_Picturehouse/Whats_On/Clubs_Groups/Big_Scream/

Give me a shout if anyone's keen,

Lou (and Bobby)

Lou, I'll see you there as I'm already going with my NCT crew

One thing to note, website says its the new Richard Curtis film, in cinema and printed details it says its showing "The Way Way Back"!

The guy I spoke to in the cinema last week didn't know which was correct!!!

You have to pay ?1 "annual membership" (apparently that gets them around fact the babies are all too young to officially "see" the higher rated films!!)

You also have to leave buggies outside the room which I can't picture as its such a small place!!

Trying it for the first time so interested to check out what Amber thinks ;))

    • I'd get rid of duty free shopping.  Nothing to do with tourist tax but something I hate.  All that glitz as you try to get through to Wetherspoons in the departure lounge.  No great savings over on line or even at times supermarkets, and the hypocrisy of selling cheap cancer sticks. Ok back to tourist tax
    • If anyone is thinking of traveling a bit more and would like to supplement their trip by picking up a few family heirlooms from various ailing maiden aunts of mine, please drop me a private message. I'm particularly interested in anyone who is considering Colombia & Bolivia, The Golden Triangle region of South East Asia, Andalusia & North Africa or Rotterdam. And Liverpool.
    • Wow I had no idea they give you 5% in perfume for your accommodation. You're right, I need to travel more.
    • Do none of you go abroad.  Tourist taxes are really common in continental Europe and do vary a lot city by city. They are collected by the hotels/rental apartments. They are usually a  tiny part of your holiday costs.  In Narbonne recently we paid €1.30 per person per night.  The next town we went to charge 80 cents per person per night. By comparison Cologne is 5% of your accomodation.
