Would love to come along this evening but I'm leaving my current job and having a beer, well several beers, in a pub in Tooley Street called the Shipwrights Arms, so I fear I will be in no fit state to go anywhere after coming out of there.

I was hoping to say hello to you, dulwich mum, and quids, tonight PGC, I'll just have to wait for the next one.

I did meet Kalamity Kel and Tillie Trotter which is always nice, to put faces to prolific posters.

It was quite busy and filled half of the cpt, to tiptoeing gently through forumistas, thus avoiding any possible spills.

I learned that sue's folk singing gig at edt was sold out two weeks before the event, so book early for the next one on the 20 something of this month.

One of these days Georgia will be booking the Albert Hall for the forumistas;-)

Good morning all :)) twas yet another kool night. Wow wot a turn out.

I loved over hearing the bar maid talking to one of her regulars - "there was only a couple of ppl in earlier and then all of a sudden all these ppl turned up... some kind of group thing" hehe

People - it was so so lovely to meet you all last night.

I'd have liked to have headed down to the Drum - but I just couldnt handle more drink.

It was so strange actually going to Forum drinks after 9 months of being on here - just from the point of view that you recognise people, and think you "know" them from the character of their posts.

Anyway - you're all adorable!

Morning... little dry today?

Nice to chat to Mark and briefly to Mockers. Wasn't minglng as much as usual due to being busy trying to induct three people into the cult. Mwahahaaa!!!

Thanks for the nametag SteveT. It ended up above the urinals with all the others.

Wasn't too happy with the 'sensitive' approach to chucking out of the EDT bouncers. A thankless task, mind you.

Unlike someone I could mention......

(Piers not Keef - cross posting again!)

Great night. I'm ashamed to say don't think I got round to meeting anyone new, oh apart from the lovely Lady MacGabhan, who I must have bored to death - I'd reached the incessent, meningless chatter stage of tipsy :-$

Lovely to see everyone else again.

if I say I don't feel to rough today does that mean it's going to kick in later? *worries*

Great night and great to see so many new people but so many people I wanted to speak to and never got around to

annaj - don't worry Lady MacGabhann says you were lovely and not at all annoying

    • I don't know everyone else's foot problems are, but I have classic and apparently quite bad deformity - bunions, pain etc. I went to the Woodware Rd practice a few years ago and got orthotics for the not inconsiderable price of £600.  The team there seems very nice but, now that I am experiencing a new type of foot pain, I'm wondering if I've been doing it all wrong these years with supportive trainers and insoles. I'm beginning to realise (seems obvious now) that, if I want to cure my foot pain, maybe I need to change the way I walk, and my posture etc. And also, maybe I need to try barefoot shoes, to build muscle where there's been no need prior, because shoes have been doing all the supporting.  I've been educating myself with Helen Hall and Lawrence van Lingen and addressing my gait seems like a more organic way to solve the problem. Podiatrists will convince you that orthotics and / or surgery are the only way to go, but look up reddit forums and you'll find countless people saying they 'cured' their bunions with barefoot walking / shoes / and exercises.
