Ladies -you should def check out the sale, the clothes are lush.


If it's a picnic on the park (not the pub), I may bring my son (and my husband) but they'll go off and do their own thing! As my 2 yr old loves Peckham rye park.

Potty training, when to move to a big bed, do I need a double buggy, how do I manage with a toddler and a new baby, when will I sleep, how do I avoid/manage sibling rivalry? What have I forgotten to get or prepare for this 2nd baby? We cover all this and more in our Welcoming Baby Number 2 course, just for parents expecting their 2nd baby.


Next course, closest to ED, is running in Crystal Palace (on the Triangle) over 3 evenings (2 hours each) in September (16th, 23rd and 30th Sep). Just a couple of places now left. East Dulwich Forum mums price of ?144 per couple or individual (normally ?180). Please contact me if you'd like to know more or book your place. Hi all,


I think a picnic was suggested so that people could bring kids etc if they wanted? Also I totally second Rebecca's suggestion of the bench area - I have a couple of camping chairs that I will bring anyway as I can't sit on the ground any more!

i'm still hoping to make it along but probably note until 2-2.30. hopefully some peeps will still be about then. will bring my 10 month old baby boy and hubby too. he may sneak off though if there aren't any other guys about, could be a little daunting a prospect! look forward to meeting up with you all. fi x

      I’m not an expert either but surely having that high of affordable housing would seem like a terrible investment. My guess is that they will pay southwark a fine then make the rest of it student housing too

      For some strange reason, hubby likes to spend 'big' on family cards birthday and Christmas. I think it may have stemmed from his mother- she equated money with status and was a bit of a snob!  She was also quite eccentric - we asked for a suitcase one year and got a set of 4. One year she gave hubby the equivalent of a hearing aid - it was a device to hear bird song. Nobody we know send expensive cards. We have a twice yearly set of cards from the Foot and Mouth Painting Artists and have done for the last 30 plus years. I think they are around £12 for set of 10  - cannot remember what we paid this winter but they are fantastic value and beautiful paintings.  One of the best places around to buy cards is the Fair Trade Centre at Christ Church Barry Road. Fantastic selection with a starting price of £1.30.
