I'm hoping it'll be owned by the band who sang that annoying song "Babycakes" a few years ago...

That's a bit harsh, they both did great things years ago, and have both done a load of cr@p in the last 10-15 years. However, Izzard was very funny once, and now he isn't. Same for Jack Dee... It happens.

Anyway, this is every so slightly off topic, sorry.

The difference is that (unlike French & Saunders) Eddie Iz doesn't have the privilege of a BBC Carte Blanche Comedy Royalty Golden Ticket Arrangement - which allows them the luxury of year after guaranteed year of painfully unfunny, hopelessly outdated recommission after recommission.

They were a comic institution back in the early 80s. Lenny Henry, The Bint who went to America and the other one. Good to have them back. Hoorah!

It does indeed look like it COULD be a carpet shop (has some kind of hanging/display rack situation going on). Just what Bellenden needs. In fact, I was only remarking to my girlfriend as we walked through the other day that a carpet shop would be a useful addition since we are already overrun with excellent bars and restaurants...
