Here's Suggs recommending my mates' band. I suspect they took advantage of his...err....merriment.

And a proper song.

Electric Prunes - I had to(sic) much to dream

I've thought this was "I had too much to drink last night" for years. Doh!!

Having seen Dawn Landes live, I would recommend checking out more of her stuff

This came on my shuffle back on the plane - it's a haunting take on an old English Folk Song. I hadn't heard it in years and it gave me quite the chill

The video is now to do with the song or group - some amateur take.

Dear Mr Lush - I can't thank you enough.

I was thinking of buying the new Prodigy CD (I know CDs are soooo last century but that's just me). Anyone heard it? Good? Bad? Indifferent? Don't give a fcuk?

My missus introduced me to this group. The Video is a homage to the shield but the band in question are called 'White House'. I like it but I can't understand it but I like listening to her humming along to it.

    • Oh yes, it could have been about there, I can't remember exactly. At one point there seemed to be a load of pizza places opening on NCR. I vaguely remember the one we used to use was put out of business by another one which opened. Wasn't Grace and Favour's food offering more of a tea shop at the back of the actual shop? If memory serves the owner, whose name escapes me now, was one of the earliest people I know to move to Hastings. Which must now be crammed with South East Londoners 🤣
