veggie moussaka but I'm a bit hormonal and it's all going wrong.

Also just started a loaf of bread in the bread machine but forgot to put the paddles in and it's missed half an hour of kneading. And I had to stick my hands in the mix to get the paddles in so I've prob buggered up the yeast.

I had a sort of veggie stew, which I adapted from a Claudia Roden Middle Eastern lentily recipe, served with some mashed potatoes (combination of King Edwards and Desiree). Then for afters I had a slice of my sisters wedding cake. God, I'm stuffed now.

Stew was lush. And there's plenty left for another meal - funny how stews always taste so much better when they've sat around for a day or two.

Lincolnshire sausages from Sparkes tonight - not yet decided whether to have mash or chips. As for stews/casseroels, they always improve if you make them the day before they are eaten! In fact I have several in the freezer, all made in quantity over various weekends.>:D<:)-D:))

Escalope of Chicken breast, quick pan fried in butter and gently tossed in a warm freshly squeezed Lemon juice and Flat Leaf Parsley sauce

Server on a bed of mash and fine green beans

Almost healthy
