Ha, we have lured Franki out of Wanted, Blahblah and Recommendations and into the Lounge! Addiction to the Forum and a period of less-than-ideal concentration at work may follow... ah ha ha ha ha haaaa! (I actually write my evil laughter down, it's more nefarious that way, if perhaps somewhat pernickety)

I would vote for 11th.

As for Franki - I knew she was doomed the moment I saw her at the drinks. I think she needs to print out

This thread

And have a good long hard look at herself before she decides if this is what she wants to do ;-)

VeryBerryCherry - we only met briefly at the very end of the evening where I may have had more than my 2 pint allowance. So erase that meeting from your memory (I think you were talking to Mockney Piers at that point)

When I get my memory back I will do my best to erase it. then we can start all over again next time...

yep Moos and Sean, it was only a matter of time ;-) However I haven't yet even attempted to read the football focus thread which is rising in prominence and is (gasp) about 105 pages long and over 3,000 posts. wow.

although if I had a blackberry it is entirely possible that I'd be multi-tasking my bus journey with my forum posting... oh no wait I wouldn't at the moment as I'm a bit too obsessed with when we were orphans

but mustn't get my threads mixed up, on my way to book club thread in a mo...the old familiar turf...

Annaj... I think I might possibly have won our 'who is the least photogenic out of franki and annaj' competition!

Hhhmmmm. You did come off worst in the picture if us together, but don't forget I have a long and distinguished history of looking bizarre in Forum Photos. Do a search for Andrew's previous photos, go on, I promise you'll laugh out loud.....

Franki, how can you not know who Mr. Ben is? I know who Mr. Ben is, and we haven't even met. I'm thinking of posting about him on the 'celebrities in East Dulwich' thread.

This is the world of the East Dulwich Forum.. circularly referential, and slightly bizarre..

This sounds like one of these puzzles. One person always tells the truth. One person always lies. The third person alernates between telling the truth and lieing.

And I have had a nice drink tonight. Or maybe I am the one who always lies....

    • "2.2.1 The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) has undertaken a comprehensive consultation process with its residents and stakeholders regarding the proposed development which aims to create 41 additional units and has been designed to address the growing demand for accessible and supportive accommodation for individuals with visual impairments. 2.2.2 The consultation process has been a key part of the planning phase, ensuring that the needs and preferences of current residents are taken into account. RNIB has held several meetings, workshops, and surveys to gather feedback on the design, facilities, and overall impact of the new development. Residents have been encouraged to share their views on various aspects, including accessibility features, communal spaces, and the integration of the new blocks with the existing infrastructure which has directly informed the proposals. 2.2.3 The Applicant also engaged with the local MP, Helen Hayes, and a couple of local councillors at the behest of RNIB tenants to provide new homes to promote independent living for its Blind and Partially Sighted residents"     Seems like a very sensible and necessary proposal to me.
    • Is this the home for the blind and partially sighted at the south end of Underhill?
    • Sorry, yes, you can park but it's unlikely you will find a space. I meant to say 'you can't park with any certainty' - and if you go past Stradella Road getting back to where you can park is a bit of a bind.
