Bizarrely, the last time I saw that was in a restaurant - can't remember what it was or what it was called - in Lordship Lane. I think it was whatever was there before GBK moved in.

They must have had a DVD of it or something.

I'm all for community involvement, knowing your market and all that, but if this cinema opens, I hope they are wise enough to be able to decide for themselves which range of films to show. Deciding what films to show based on a public vote would be dismal. I promise not to tell you what films I want to see, if you promise not to impose your personal tastes on me either. With three screens, I hope there will be something for everyone.

Well said.

But Dodgeball wouldn't go amiss.

I live behind the proposed site. Can't ever park anyway which is the sign of thriving gym/butcher/fishmonger etc. not sure how many people would drive to the cinema anyway. Generally if we go to Brixton it's the bus. Happy to accept parking downside for enhanced local amenity that a cinema would bring.

    • There was quite an old clip on BBC4 recently where they were introducing yoghurt to the British public. They called it a 'Balkan Dairy Preparation', which sounded to me more like something you'd ask to speak to the male member of staff about in the chemist in those days.
    • I haven't had any problems, except when the online  appointment system is full, but I have found if something is urgent they can fit you in if you phone. I think they probably keep a few spaces free for urgent last minute appointments, but I'm just guessing  I've found it quite convenient being able to email questions which previously I would have had to ask at an actual appointment, and I've always had a speedy reply. You can send photos as well. I don't know about forms and letters. That sounds bad. Have the admin staff changed recently?
    • Nearly a quarter of the way through the season. Week 9 points...   Week 9 table...
    • The yoghurt was very sharp (not sure of right word) and  if memory serves quite runny. Nothing like the stuff sold now. There was pink as well. Strawberry? That must have had sugar in? Too new fangled for us, but my Auntie Grace down the road used to get it 😂 Well, you had to keep up to date. Sorry, couldn't resist.
