This spring I shall be mostly wearing....

A short baby doll dress, complete with black footless leggings and gold ballet slippers so that I look just like the trendy shopgirls in 'ed' and The Dulwich Trader.

(White van man beware - from behind I will look gorgeously twenty-something, but from the front like an even more raddled Janice Dickinson!)

I dunno about that; if Keth Richards suddenly jumped out at me in a dark alleyway asking for a light, I'd run for the hills!

Father Time has been most cruel to that man. And the copious amounts of smack were a bad idea. Raddled.

I think I would run for the hills if a teenage boy jumped out from an alleyway and asked for a light quite honestly! I wouldn't really mind if he had teenage skin or a furrowed brow!

C'mon, it's a miracle that Keith Riohards is still ALIVE! After what he's put his body through, I don't think he's in bad shape at all. Compare and contrast with Elvis' final days...

BTW, did you know that apparently Keith Richards changes his blood every year - kind of like a car getting an oil change. Spooky, no?

And one more on the subject of raddled, I think Iggy Pop has weathered exceptionally well - I'm sure there are some women who wouldn't mind him jumping out from a dark alley (admittedly more likely in Camden than ED though)!

  Yes it would be easier, and I give a lot to the hospice shops, but for various reasons there are certain things I prefer to give to Oxfam. However I might go through the books and see if some could be donated more locally. I think in any charity shop staffed by volunteers, the reception you get must depend on the member of staff. The Oxfam bookshop have always been very happy when I've taken shedloads of books there in the past. On the other hand, I've taken things to the hospice shop that were received very grumpily when they hadn't even looked in the bag or asked what they were. It felt like I was being a nuisance and causing them more work. I don't remember a previous thread on here about the Oxfam shop and parking, but that's possibly because it wasn't relevant to me at the time.
