Petals, the new shop on Melbourne Grove, had a spring/summer launch on Saturday just gone, free champagne and chocolate. Very Springy.

No reduction on prices, but after a couple of galsses of free booze and cocoa fix I was happy to buy whatever they were selling!

Yes, me and mrs me popped in and indeed had a glass of champagne and a chocolate (dark chocolated coated praline). We didn't buy anything but there are some nice things in there for the lay-deez

I was lucky enough to see the darling that is Keith Richards last summer in the south of France and I have to say he looked marvellous. That's a face that's lived a life, raddled certainly but bloody marvellous for it. Anyway, this spring I er shall mostly be wearing what I usually damned well wear, that being jeans, tee-shirt, Jesus sneakers, shades and a drink in one hand and a fag in the other. Cheers! :)-D

For sure Clare, only the flipflop stylee though. Got some on the cheap in lovely Lewisham last year and they never left my feet.... I really can't wait for summer!!!

Dear Clare,

The children will be wearing crocs, but I find a bit of a lift in the heel accentuates the shaps of the leg, so I shall be continuing to avoid Birkies and Uggs too.
