Oh Clonakilty White Pudding is yum yum...

I'm there tomorrow for club orange, pudding, rashers, Snax/Tayto's/Chipsticks/Cadburys, and hopefully brown bread and the Limerick Leader :)

This is all making me quite hungry now! Isn't the Irish Cadburys different to the UK one...

There is a Cadbury's in Dublin. The Da worked there when we were young and they definitely made chocolate then because we saw lots of it!...

They still make it and I do think its a bit creamier. Aswell as that I would think the ingredients are homegrown which probably gives it a subtle difference!

Taytos and red lemonade, I'm six again sitting in Bradley's pub in Laban with my family.

I was about to go on about it being Proustian and everything but I might want to visit Bradley's some time soon and I'm unsure as to the number of poets/writers might frequent it these days.

I wouldn't want to alienate or bore anyone to sleep.

So, so far as Bradley's goes I'll work on the basis Proust=Stupor and just leave it at that.

ooh Honaloochie, I've never stepped foot in the Irish shop but its not because I haven't wanted to. Next time I'm in the area, see if I won't! Those Taytos and Red Lemonades are all mine I tell you.

No congrats necessary at all, Beller, so long as I've aided your stupor then all's well from this end.

    • Great finish to today, true Test cricket. India had the chance to kill it off a couple of times, but Carse and Tongue looked far better than I was expecting in a Test situation over the last few days. Still hoping for Jofra and Woody to be back for a couple games each.  PGC, do you reckon this 'Anderson -Tendulkar' series could make Tests a bit more interesting to the wider word? There's still Birmingham, north London, Manchester and south London to go. It's never going to to be 'The Ashes', but as a five game series, I genuinely think this might get people a bit more involved.
    • LOL.   Lazy ass people who choose to litter!!!!   Really greenery does not cause anti social behaviour.   But I gotta say thanks for the giggle.
    • That's a gross exaggeration. All of it. But maybe you just intended to provoke that response?
    • A problem with weeds being left to grow on pavements is that a lot of local residents appear to think it gives them permission to litter which then accumulates around these tufts of urine-soaked weeds. Saying that, the principal litter louts are the recycling workers that do the blue bins. I followed them down one of the roads and at every single stop they dropped between 5 and 11 separate pieces of rubbish. There were hundreds of pieces dropped on Underhill Road alone.
