Hello all,

Something a little different to the norm! As Estate Agents, we want to be part of your community. We already sponsor Heber Primary School and several artists from Camberwell School of Art.

We are writing to tell everyone in East Dulwich that Jacksons Estate Agents are opening a brand new office at 12 Lordship Lane SE22 8HN.

We will be opening on the 1st September at 10am. We will be providing free drinks to all those who pop in. We are also offering the chance to win ?5,000!

Everyone welcome -We hope to see you there.

Having had a god awful experience with Jacksons lettings in Balham, let me say, never again.

When we looked for our next place, we very deliberately boycotted Jacksons.

Why?

Pushy yet disinterested when it mattered; money-grabbing when it suited them, yet lackadaisical on other days, not to mention badly trained staff who would clearly rather have been watching paint dry/ get their commission than going the extra mile.

Pity it couldn't have been an independent butcher/baker/ candlestick maker instead.

...and also dispariging of the estate agents that are currently in East Dulwich, some of whom I have experience of and have been very good (not all i might add). Treat us like idiots, butter us up by some token "sponsorships", a drink and a chance to win ?5,000 as well as an obvious fake post and we are all yours?! Hahah FAIL

Hoary indeed, next someone will surmise that the ?5000 prize will in some way

tided up with the first people to use them as an agency. I'm sure the residents of ED

and 'Eastdulwichfan' welcome Jacksons to our well established bijou

high street, located close to transport links. Or maybe not !!

Now this is starting to look a bit like cyber-bullying. Wishing that someone should be fired because you belive (with no little evidence but no proof) that 'he' has been up to a bit of cack-handed promotion is a bit rich. Eastdulwichfan's been outed - leave it at that.

(And what a good way for a rival estate agent to build up ill-will to a competitor - by appearing to make such a blatant puffery post - just a thought!)

No - this isn't cyber bullying!

Jacksons & Eastdulwichfan - please take note. The people in this community that you say you want to be part of are not as stupid as you think. We were not born yesterday and this forum has been around for a long time so don't insult us with false recommendations please.

I am your target market - i.e. I am someone in need of the services of an estate agent at the moment. You've already shot yourselves in the foot by demonstrating a lack of integrity.

The NoFlies estate agent (local ED business) has actual genuine forum recommendations in case you're interested. Integrity and hard work.

    • Let's hope Planet Aid's current workers aren't forced to make "voluntary" contributions to the cult, then. "Patrick Goteka was working for a charity in Zimbabwe when, in 2006, his employer offered him a big break - the chance to transfer to the US. Goteka, who would be working as a manager in the recycled clothes business, knew the move would mean sacrifices - separating him from his wife and three children. But he says he didn't bank on also having to join a cult-like organisation - the Teachers Group - and surrender a chunk of his monthly salary when he took on his new role." https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-36940384 https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-36953455
    • Kyjah did my garden at my flat and then I moved house and lost his number and came on here to find it again.    He recently completed installing a new driveway in the front of our house. It was a concreted front garden and he turned it into a double car driveway with paving, exactly what we wanted him to do.    He then did our back garden and has done an amazing job. Laying a new patio, raised beds, seated areas and new lawn. The back we asked him to leave as we plan to get a cabin installed.    I searched Kyjah out as he did such an amazing job at my flat and he was the only person I trusted to do the work at our new house. He’s reliable, hard-working and brings your vision to life. I’ve attached some before and after pics
