It's OK. The one at the Plough isn't.

But where does the council get off allowing a thing of beauty like the right hand side of the hospital to be knocked down, then green lighting highly 'individual' murals all over the manor?

And if there was general consensus that we all hate the thirty foot tall mad hatter bee/ant, who's going to scrub it off?

I went to see the mural going up and spoke to the artist himself, what a cool guy! He is all about vegan food, equality and contentiousness - that's his philosophy. I love what he is all about. I guess the owners identified with the artist in the idea healthy eating. Apart from this - loving all the murals in Dulwich - they give a bit of light in the dark of the winter, finally we have some cool pictures to look at.

The clue is that carrot-in-a-beerglass logo... a lamb chop woud have been much more decorative/enticing.

I hear he is using vegan spray paint too*.

I like the crapping dog. It's based on part of a picture in the Dulwich Picture Gallery.

A somewhat obscure part of the picture, admittedly.

    • An interesting point.  In my work I met lots of different people in different circumstances; individuals finding themselves through no fault of their own, living in such houses having inherited them, but not themselves having the means to pay to keep them so they  moved away, or they simply didn't want to move from the place of their family life through generations.  Some of us may think a nice problem to have, but emotionally very difficult a situation to be in.  I agree that income tax always seems to be a fairer way.  My bugbear is and always be taxing private pensions, when one has already paid tax on the earnings that make them up!  The entire amount makes up the tax and not just taxed on the interest made since.
    • Im pretty sure he specialises in treating children.
    • Does anyone remember that Christmas tree fair in the middle of Goose Green year?
    • What do we think? There's a couple of not very big ordinary family homes for sale on my street that will fall foul of this.  Seems totally arbitrary to tax these people more than others imo. J hope the treasury will pay the cost of collection too, rather than burdening the council who won't benefit at all from this tax. They should have just increased income tax.
