Loudest bunch usually works

There have been many photos posted from past sessions so you may recognise some faces

If we are in the front bar, not the dining room of the Duke we should be obvious

Some of us are good at spotting people who look like the MIGHT be looking for the forum as well...

Either way it'll work itself out and you'll have a grand time

Hey, sorry to interrupt, but don't want to start another thread just for this, and don't know who to PM.

How are the dates of the forum drinks fixed?

We sadly found out that our Goose gig at Hoopers tomorrow clashes with this month's drinks (and we'd have loved to have come, especially as we have now been to the Duke twice and really like it :) )

Our next night at Hoopers is on 3 October - and we already have the artists lined up - is it at all possible to have the forum drinks on another night, so that people who want to go to both can? And then maybe liaise in the future so there aren't clashes?

You were there first - we'll fit in with the dates you want! Forum drinks are great :)

Nah! I reckon you need a good slap with a wet fish.

And Sean, what happened with the other five-per-cent?

    • Dishing the dirt is generally fine when it comes to politicians and in Farage's case he often deserves it but  nothing illegal  has been done. It is not illegal for him to give his partner a sizeable amount of money with which to buy a house and have it registered in her name. He is 64 years old and his partner is 16 years younger and so he most likely is making plans to minimise IHT. There is a sliding scale for IHT but basically a gift is free of IHT if the gift is made 7 years before the donor dies. Farage is 64 years old and his partner is 16 years younger. In 7 years time, if he lives that long, he will be 71 years old. Given that he smokes like a chimney and drinks like a fish, his odds on getting beyond 71  years may be pretty slim.  A similar  process is followed by the "bank of mum and dad"  where parents  give money to their kids to fund purchase of a property. Many who are not cash rich will mortgage their home and so release equity to fund their kids property. We did it as have many of our friends.
