I live on my own, like cooking and sharing food with others. I find that if i cook to share, i eat better and can consider making more interesting food. I wonder about others in the same situation.

I am thinking of starting some sort of informal supper club, no more than 4-5 people, on the basis of either taking it in turns or making a contribution if cooking for orther people is too much for you but you would still like to take part.

I am thinking healthy food, family cooking rather than foodie trying to impress stuff. anyone interested in discussing it and wanting to give it a try? Also keeping it local, so that getting around it not an issue.

I am in my 60s and do lots of things in my life but eating with other people in the evenings doesnt happen as often as it could. I like the idea of multigeneration sharing, and potluck and the conversations that may arise.

anyone else interested in looking at the possibilities?

email me and we can put our heads together

    • Most of the groceries shops in Lordship Lane have a security presence…curious thing is I and another woman recently saw a shop lifter lift and not pay for a couple of packet of steaks, veg and bottle of wine..  Literally walked Pat the tills, one member of staff and security guard despite someone else going in front by a few people and mentioning person in question! I have to say, speechless and admired their bravado - I would not have the guts and knowing my luck, if I accidentally didn’t put something tru the till despite receipt would prob get stopped! Yes, worked with families, homeless and other people who were struggling for food so I do understand why they do it.. sad when you think about it, that in this day and age, all sorts of c people need assistance and help from community in general, food banks, olio etc….
