Local Vet Recommendation

Hello, can anyone give me a good recommendation for a vets in the area please?

Our last dog was with John Hankinson. Our new puppy is with Neighbourhood vets. They're both good.

Neighbourhood vets may be more expensive but win on location, very handy to be in walking distance and with the park there too (to calm a nervous patient).

A J M Robson, Highshore Road. Very experienced vet, have always taken my cats for the past 10+ years.

I would second Ms Robson - she is lovely and her prices are comparatively reasonable.

Neighbourhood vets get our vote too..we've had two very poorly cats this year, & both got amazing care and are doing very well, They looked after us too I have to say, and sorted out the insurance for us.

I like Lordship Lane vets - they've always provided my pets with excellent care.

I too would recommend Lordship Lane Vets. We're taken a succession of cats to LLV and its predecessor surgery (Lomax)for more than 25 years and have always had good service.

I recommend John Hankinson as well. We used to go to Lordship Lane vets but the receptionists were so sloppy (except Selina who is excellent). Three times they gave me the wrong medication, wrong dose and wrong species medication for my cat. Each time I pointed out that it was wrong they had a snotty attitude like I was being fussy. I told the vet why we were leaving and she agreed that the receptionists were not very good. What a weird thing to agree to!

Neighbourhood vets, excellent service, caring staff dedicated to what they do, even sent us pictures when our cats come out of their operations :)

Neighbourhood vets! Solved the mystery of our cat scratching all the skin off her head repeatedly quickly. Plus my other half loves going there - apparently one of the vets is rather pretty! :-)
