Oh right i see, was it the bureau for the Liberal Democrats Mural Defacement Scheme ...LDMDS Regiment for short. Hopefully someone wrapped their rollers round their heads before they dropped them from the 2nd floor window. Maybe they would have had a vision of their own as they hurtled towards the tarmac.

It's been a long miserable time for those close at hand.

I shall feel free to pass by without harassment.

Big hugs to all those who have survived to see a change for the better in the locality.

One small improvement for the area, a HUGE difference for the long suffering neighbours.

'Hooray' there is a God working for Southwark after all!

I sincerely hope not CWALD. In fact I know they aren't (unless through their own volition)... As I understand it, it may not have been the ideal resolution, simply been rehoused but not getting any more help than they did before. I may be wrong but that's my understanding.

Next on the list are my neighbours who hang their meat from the kitchen window as they dont have a fridge and love their pet cockroaches just the way they are thank you very much.....

Chav, put your red/green flag down. Those people were in need of help and were a complete and utter pain in the arse. I had them jeer at me whenever I walked past in my shorts on the way to or from the gym. I've seen them acting malevolently and without regard for anyone else on buses, and seen them shouting, drinking, swearing and generally behaving very badly in their ex-home. I don't want them on the streets but if they are able to buy booze, string sentences together and understand that they are being purposely beligerent, they should at least understand that their behaviour has caused their eviction.

Rest assured - The family is getting all the help they need. They all have roofs over their heads and are even in nicer accommodation than they were previously. Measures have been taken to prevent its members from causing harm to themselves or others. The very specific needs of each and every family member have been identified and solutions provided.

The problem has certainly not been moved on to someone else - absolutely not. Saying that is an insult to both the council's staff who have done a wonderful job and neighbours who have been patient enough to wait until a solution acceptable to everyone was found.

The family has not been evicted and are certainly not sleeping in cardboard boxes. Everybody involved - residents and former residents of Whateley Road - are all now much better off.

Not doubting anyone on here, but I walk up and down that road all the time and have never had a peep out of these people. Anyway, glad the residents are happy now, and glad they've been moved to pastures new. Feel slightly sorry for the next resident of the property, as I think they'll struggle to meet the approval of some of their neighbours whoever they are!

    • Hallo As far as I know  info you have quoted is wrong.  You can phone for an appointment although I have always found it easier to do online. Go to their website for info on how to book appointments Any requests I have made have been reviewed and answered by a GP within 4 hours
    • Nadia did a great job tidying up my very very overgrown yard. (See the before and after photos). I live in New Zealand and my tenants said a neighbour has been complaining about the out of control ivy. Nadia was easy to contact so over WhatsApp, managed to liaise between me and my tenants. Her quote was reasonable for the amount of work that needed doing, and the end result is great! She sent photos throughout so I could track progress. Would highly recommend her to others.
    • My car was stolen a few months back from my driveway but I had a tracker and found it in a private car park in Lavender Hill close to the police station. I was lucky. The thieves hide it up against that eventuality. High spec cars are targeted I'm afraid. The way it was stolen required the thieves to wire in their own computer accessing a front light (which had had a metal sheet welded across which they prised off). They had searched for a tracker but not found it. They also had to cut away a steering wheel lock. They had to come well tooled up and briefed to do what they did. Beating them off is non trivial. As I said, them not finding my tracker was just lucky.
