We have actually mentioned doing that for a bit of old school cheese. So you never know...

Oh Keef, thank you! I love that.

I used to sing along to that all the time with my little sister (I was Elaine she was Barbara) and it's still a favourite for long car journeys. So much so, that at a very drunken engagement party we discovered that our husbands had been forced to sing the opposite parts so many times, they could actually do the whole thing together!

Bignumber5 makes a lovely Barbara ;-)

Nothing personal Sir David but the image of you,in Winter, digesting Bread and gravy and crisp sandwiches while sitting around wearing just pants, playing scrabble and listening to Aerosmith and Glen Campbell is not a vision that I want to cherish for too long..B)

    • While enjoying the nostalgia and memories, finding the implication that no such thing exists now a bit odd - we get ours through Milk and More (is part of big co, so there is that against it) - returnable glass bottles of milk, orange juice, yoghurt, and much more besides (as per the name). And yes it comes in the middle of the night in an electric vehicle.
    • This sounds like what goes on at Tessa Jowell GP surgery as well as others.   If you can flag yourself up as a ‘vulnerable’ patient or one that can’t use Apps for whatever reason etc then you can usually make appts by phone. They would have to make allowances. Quote the Equality Act 2010,  reasonable adjustments section.
    • Its part of a change all Doctor surgery's are undergoing.  The goverment want to stop the 8am scramble for an appointment, and its not just restricted to the Gardens. Sadly, it does impact some who are not digitally savy.
    • There was quite an old clip on BBC4 recently where they were introducing yoghurt to the British public. They called it a 'Balkan Dairy Preparation', which sounded to me more like something you'd ask to speak to the male member of staff about in the chemist in those days.
