Now, I'm not saying I AM Jesus... that's for you to think about in the comfort of your own homes... but if I was Jesus, this is the sort of forum I would come to isn't it? A small humble forum... not some loud, vulgar, national place like the BBC or Times ..

And is there not photographic evidence of you being inside the Magdala..?

The Daily Express have run a front page on flimsier evidence.

Well if you weren't galavanting with the almighty and spent a bit more time at home then it might be a different story. What's for tea?

Nowt wrong with being a carpenter, sorry you prefer one of these father-to-the-saviour-of-man types but I'm bringing up HIS KID with honest graft - where's he, then, eh? Says he can be everywhere and see everything but quick enough to turn a blind-eye when there's real parenting to be done...

Bloody Jerusalem Blow-Ins - not like when I grew up round here.

    • Because of the weather which delayed completion with roofer only being able to work certain days, it was up from November - end of January. Went slightly higher than gutters (we also had guttering replaced).
    • It's tough being a courier and the pay which is largely based on the number they deliver is miserable. Hence the staff turnover is high. EFRI was previously branded as HERMES but they had to create a new brand name because of poor performance. We get regular courier deliveries and EVRI are by far the worst. They just drop the parcel at the front door - often without ringing the bell. But worst is when they deliver to the equivalent door number on LL instead of ours on EDG. Best are ParcelForce, DHL and DPD by a wide margin.
    • I know the couple you mean, and she has always been friendly and smiley when delivering to me, but obviously in a hurry, for all the reasons outlined in the thread. My gate is always open, however (unless someone coming to the house closes it when they leave). I can't see the point of gates that have to be opened and shut again every time someone comes to the house. It just seems a waste of time, and it's annoying if you are carrying stuff. And a closed gate  conveys a sort of "my house is my fortress" feel. To me, anyway.
    • Thanks for posting this. Really interesting. It would be good if you added a star rating, so that it was easier to do comparisons / see what your top recommendations are. Great blog though!
