Cruise Stafer

Blimey, that took me all day to remember his name. Until i thought Top Gun that is. Sh*t my memory ain't that good no more

I do enjoy Carnell and his jibes btw

These threads can have more of an effect than you think...

posted on a similar thread six years back that Carnell looked like a young Robert Redford. I now wonder what I was drinking at the time but am thrilled my toddler is a mixture of Redford and some would say Bjork!

The tall geeky office comparison is a bit of a passion killer though.

Well one of you is miles out. I can't look like both of these!

I'd always thought I was closer to:

Hmm, Idris. I'm sure I'd have noticed if his lookalikee was wandering around East Dulwich and anyway, he doesn't count, he's definitely not c-list!

Believe it or not, I got told I looked like that bint with the safety pin premiere dress, Liz Hurley when I was in my early 30's and way before that, the blonde ex-missus of Sylvester Stsllone when I had my hair short, white blonde.

More like that one in the film Misery nowadays though.

    • Ah sorry, it was comedy.
    • I have never used AI in my life. It's just notes from my forthcoming monograph on light industry in Dulwich and Camberwell 1879-1946 (dates chosen for obvious reasons).
    • Thank you, this really made me chuckle. It's like you met my brother as he would be the one taking more than his share. Plus the 'pikey' chutney is a winner. Unusual as in can't be identified??? Sadly I'm not the host otherwise I would definitely do that I regularly shop in the Cheese Block and am a fan. But as people have pointed out, there is no cheese shop that charges less based on bulk, so Aldi unusual cheeses may be what the familam receive! Yay, so I can get discounted mouse nibbled cheese still! Oooo, now I do love a Stinking Bishop. It actually offends my stepmum by it's stinkiness but luckily she is not one of the attendees at this particular gathering.  This is blooming genius. It's actually my partner who has the biggest issue with buying in plastic so I will have to hide the wrappers from him!
