It betrays nothing other than the stupidity of the people flapping around trying to run this state. Don't hide behind history and mess around quoting wikepdedia when these fuckers are using air power and tanks on a tiny strip of land with an already impoverished population. I would like to drop a half ton bomb on your house , leaving your library intact of course.

I know Southwark Council has a Nuclear-Free Zone, which covers part of the Borough.

I'm not certain if the Library is within that area.Best to contact SC on 7-595-1000 and try to extend the Nuclear-Free Zone to include The Library to be on the safe side.

mmm yes your right, describing the palestinians like vermin is nothing like the nazi regime and i am sure the living conditions are just as good as those in the warsaw ghetto.....did you run a library there, or have you read it in a little booky wooky somewhere....that history eh, such a let down in reality. i presume your a 106 and still think the british empire was a jolly bit of fun.

I think if you are a child in both situations it would scare the shit out of you......

But you guys seem to need a fucking chart and a big fat discussion, what the fuck is going on ? Stuff your democratic papers and the so called news and all the other bollox and open your bloody eyes.

Honestly

!igeons? Has there been a coup in Israel? Nah, there's been a coop.

LOL..That was what my comment referred to Loiusiana as I know there hasn't been a Political uprising in Israel:))

I had to play on words using coup as "coo" would have been too obvious....as for your coop...I'm going to shop there later!

B)

I think the comparison with the warsaw ghetto was more an analogy rather than a direct comparison - rather like it's raining cats and dogs, it'd would have been clearer to have just said ghetto. Anyway pointing out the obvious just distracts from yet another sorry tale from the place once known as the land of milk and honey but appears more like the land of blood and spite.

In this part of the world there is always fighting and bloodbaths whether it's Kurds and Turks, Sunnis and Shias, Israelis and Palestinians, Fatah and Hamas.. the list is shameful and the list is long, they'll use any smokescreen they can to justify their actions. At end of day it's a volatile region which has been like that long before oil and religion.

    • He did mention it's share of freehold, I’d be very cautious with that. It can turn into a nightmare if relationships with neighbours break down. My brother had a share of freehold in a flat in West Hampstead, and when he needed to sell, the neighbour refused to sign the transfer of the freehold. What followed was over two years of legal battles, spiralling costs and constant stress. He lost several potential buyers, and the whole sale fell through just as he got a job offer in another city. It was a complete disaster. The neighbour was stubborn and uncooperative, doing everything they could to delay the process. It ended in legal deadlock, and there was very little anyone could do without their cooperation. At that point, the TA6 form becomes the least of your worries; it’s the TR1 form that matters. Without the other freeholder’s signature on that, you’re stuck. After seeing what my brother went through, I’d never touch a share of freehold again. When things go wrong, they can go really wrong. If you have a share of freehold, you need a respectful and reasonable relationship with the others involved; otherwise, it can be costly, stressful and exhausting. Sounds like these neighbours can’t be reasoned with. There’s really no coming back from something like this unless they genuinely apologise and replace the trees and plants they ruined. One small consolation is that people who behave like this are usually miserable behind closed doors. If they were truly happy, they’d just get on with their lives instead of trying to make other people’s lives difficult. And the irony is, they’re being incredibly short-sighted. This kind of behaviour almost always backfires.
    • I had some time with him recently at the local neighbourhood forum and actually was pretty impressed by him, I think he's come a long way.
