It was a great game Keef should be proud of them they played well and it could have gone either way. Chelski's defence is looking a bit naff tho' going by the number of goals and with what went on at the weekend. Barcelona is going to be a great game or could it be a 1 all pile of old snoooz, some how I doubt it.

What a game! I was lucky enough to be at the Bridge tonight, and I think everyone was a winner.

Probably in the cold light of day Liverpool will regret mistakes made but that's football. Just goes to show when you cut loose amazing things can happen. Liverpool can be proud of their fightback and in case anyone was in any doubt it proved they're not a one man team.

EDIT: I retract the bit about everyone was a winner, as of course Drogba was playing and he is one big bag of shit that most fans would happily have a whip round to have deported.

Fabulous Match, absolutely superb for which both teams deserve the utmost praise.

Highlight of the night wasn't any of the 8 goals though. It just HAS to be Drogba rolling back onto the pitch when injured off the pitch..sheer class from the boy...(tu)(td)

It's "Babel"

Very proud of the lads tonight and our support. Sometimes things aren't meant to be. Rafa couldn't win whatever he did he'd have been slated.

Number 19 is just there - it's just within our grasp but I think just out of reach.

YNWA the 96 - Justice is deserved for them and those affected.

Tonight isn't important in the grand scheme of things.

Babs Windsor has been in the game for a zillion years now AFN!

Nothing lasts forever, Sid James enjoyed their finest hours...

Missed last nights game unfortunatley - I'm old enough to rememeber the Liverpool Everton 4-4 draw and that was great fun.

Friend at work was there last night and said it was the best game he'd ever seen. I was in Tandoori Nights having a quiet curry with my uncle and have to admit was rather aghast when I found out the score. Wss expecting an early Chelsea goal to end the excitement and a drab affair - seems Liverpool get better and better. I'm now officially worried about my MU bet for the title.

It was 20 years ago today, 15th April 1989, when 96 perished at Hillsborough. I remember listening to Radio 2 awaiting another FA Cup semi final commentary when the tragic news started to be broadcast. When you read the stories and see the footage and remember back to that fateful day, well.... YNWA.

    • Sadly I think you will never convince people like this. They think gardens have to be kept chopped back and controlled. My theory is that this comes from being (or trying to be) controlling in every aspect of their lives, so I doubt if anything you could say or show them would have any effect. But are they actually coming into your garden or leaning over into it and pulling up/damaging things? If so, maybe one of our community police people could have a word with them?
    • Dear Nature lovers - advice please. I am being harassed by a neighbour who doesn't like my standard of gardening which she calls 'messy'. (I have rewilded my garden with advice from the London Wildlife Trust and a gardening expert from The Times.) I have twice caught this neighbour and her husband pulling up my plants and damaging my trees. Plus she has photographed my house, and sent a dozen complaints to the Dulwich Estate about my plan to rewild the verge outside my property - approved by the Estate some 4 years ago in line with their stated policy of supporting biodiversity in and around Dulwich. What can I do to introduce these neighbours  to the benefits to us all of returning a portion of our gardens to nature?
    • Have you tried Southwark's leisure centres? As a regular attendee at Peckham, Camberwell, The Castle and speaking to friends, the dance routines for all ages are similar to Silver ones. In addition Natty, Bianca and Isac are brilliant instructors.
    • I've been there for lunch a few times and the home cooked asian food (as part of Sweat Dreams cafe) is genuinely great and a must try. I think the food side of the business has been slow to be noticed but people are now realising what is actually hidden in plain sight.  As for the Aroma Lab coffee ... it is excellent, they are very welcoming and friendly (and unpretentious!). This Australian coffee snob is mightily impressed!!
