Me too.

Does that make TDR and HMB one and the same?

Great read, as ever.

The P13 from Great exhibition to Peckham must have loads of pub stops.

Yes, the P13 would mean 13 pubs.

I would suggest that in the 'clusters' (eg the pubs mentioned above in Streatham and Tulse Hill) it would be allowable to do a half in each. Blimey, though, there are already some crackers in those lists - it almost seems rude to do a half.

Maybe with a good breakfast (plus remembering to eat lunch, dinner) and by sticking to session ale it would be achievable to have 13 pints between, say, noon and midnight.

Now I've thought about it, I can't think of a better way to spend a day...

I'd come

Something along these lines?

1. The Earl Ferrers

2. The Railway

3. The White Hart

4. The Tulse Hill Hotel

5. Great Exhibition

6. EDT

7. Hamlets Bar

8. The Victoria Inn

9. Montpelier

10. Beer Rebellion

11. Hobgoblin

12. New Cross House

13. Amersham Arms

..Bit light at the Streatham end though

A couple of minutes walk (tops) from where it stops in Streatham, is The Waterfront. A friend used to work there and they did a mean pizza, which could be a good belly liner.

Haven't been there for a few years though, and a look at street view shows they've painted it a horrid aqua colour, so perhaps best avoided.

Ooof. Only way I could tackle this is on a Saturday. Sunday to recvoer and back to work on Monday.

I would favour either Fri 30th Jan (start at lunch so half day off) or Sat 31st and try to take in the Hamlet game at 3pm!

Btw, I've written another post for Deserter - this time on the delights of Penge:

He supported Trump who is directly threatening our interests and he supported Liz Truss' disastrous budget. He has done his best to ensure our country's decline and now people too proud to admit their mistakes and the deleterious impact of UKIP / The Brexit party / Reform Ltd are again voting for him to finish the job / nail down the coffin lid. Yes, he is a plastic patriot.
    • You clearly don’t know Peckham Rye station there are lifts but they’re not available to the public. Actually, they were  briefly made available when the art exhibition was on.  Priorites again.
    • I'm not going to claim 2 old men arguing on line ISN't boring - but it's on a thread about the viability of(or otherwise) of Reform winning power in this country. If they do take power, it will because people like jazzer get away with making claims like they do without challenge I'm challenging him, and like most reform voters, he starts crying I'm twisting his words? do YOU think I'm twisting his words? if so, how? Because it's important if Reform do win power it won't be boring, it will be very bad for the country and I will know who to blame
    • I think it's a false dichotomy. Lift maintenance is a priority and I doubt the delays in fixing them is to do with lack of funding. Whether they go ahead with this scheme of not, will make zero difference to how lift maintenance is being managed. There seems to be general opposition to any form of change across this forum.
