Turkey can be good - the dark meat is anything but bland! The breast meat can be awful though without plenty of butter/bacon/basting. My choice would be a goose AND a rib of beef.

Those people gliding serene around Dukwich park today. They are clearly not doing the cooking! That said big thanks to Seabag for his festive cooking tips which made our lunch today.

Great day today, just the 5 of us for dinner, although we did pop to the Ivy House for a festive beer before starting the cooking. Family in Ireland were on skype.

Cooking was a team effort with me and the missus, i do the turkey and roasties and she does the rest.

I have already had two snoozes since dinner.
