A *happy ending* of sorts. The main Lothario has contacted me to say he is "sorry" but that it is not his fault. The conclusion of the story is that his wife won't shag him and therefore he "had no choice" but to look elsewhere....multiple times....:-S

I think that now, after being enlightened by this news, it can be confirmed that my ALERT!Bunny Boiler!ALERT comment has now gained a significant amount of weight.

The only fallout I can see materializing from this is that the LL shopkeepers will never ever be viewed in quite the same light.

So with the jury still out on this, I myself shall adjourn to the nearest ale house.

24 hours ago this man was, supposedly, a danger to every woman in East Dulwich. Now, one telephone call later, everything is all right and we have a 'happy ending'. I too think I've been taken for ride and feeling dirty afterwards...

I suggest another warning. Chaps, if you consider buying a girl a drink this weekend and you find out her name is Felicity, then run. Run as fast as you can. Don't stop until you've passed Putney.

No, but if they've got info to report about any LLLs please put them in touch with me.

    • Thought others may be interested to help a local community centre help others.    My bank account offers roundup and it’s been growing all year. As well as treating myself or putting it towards a train ticket to see my family I’ve made a donation to the Albrighton. They can use donations at any time but I hope my donation will go towards the Christmas hampers.    Can you support them so they can provide Christmas hampers?   https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/albrightoncommunityfridge?utm_id=1&utm_term=M22JKQb6W   A donation of £50 will pay for a hamper to feed a family over this Christmas period. A donation of £30 will pay for a hamper to feed someone living on their own over the Christmas period.
    • I've never got Christmas pudding. The only times I've managed to make it vaguely acceptable to people is thus: Buy a really tiny one when it's remaindered in Tesco's. They confound carbon dating, so the yellow labelled stuff at 75% off on Boxing Day will keep you going for years. Chop it up and soak it in Stones Ginger Wine and left over Scotch. Mix it in with a decent vanilla ice cream. It's like a festive Rum 'n' Raisin. Or: Stick a couple in a demijohn of Aldi vodka and serve it to guests, accompanied by 'The Party's Over' by Johnny Mathis when people simply won't leave your flat.
    • Not miserable at all! I feel the same and also want to complain to the council but not sure who or where best to aim it at? I have flagged it with our local MP and one Southwark councillor previously but only verbally when discussing other things and didn’t get anywhere other than them agreeing it was very frustrating etc. but would love to do something on paper. I think they’ve been pretty much every night for the last couple of weeks and my cat is hating it! As am I !
    • That is also a Young's pub, like The Cherry Tree. However fantastic the menu looks, you might want to ask exactly who will cook the food on the day, and how. Also, if  there is Christmas pudding on the menu, you might want to ask how that will be cooked, and whether it will look and/or taste anything like the Christmas puddings you have had in the past.
