Wise words on that forum from Downsouth an ex and well missed member of this one,

"I do find the whole "them" and "us" thing quite funny as the only posters who have put up derogatory things are normally ex-EDF members. By and large those comments are ignored by most people who do post here. But with the amount of traffic generated over there lots of opinions are aired very quickly whereas that's just not the case on the WDF. I think the lack of replies to such posts is indicative of the fact that most people here simply don't care about non-existenet rivalries which to be fair the EDF guys enjoy as it forms part of their banter."

Seems pretty pathetic to me really.. If they dont have anything better to do than to log on to their forum and slag off other people who they dont know then I think that says enough about them.. I thik we should all just abandon this thread and go back to talking about stuff that is relevant to us and we enjoy and leave them to continue to be losers...
This is nothing. You guys should check out the se23.com forum, that is incredibly dull and run by an utter control freak. Mixchael P once posted a thread inviting se23 poster to the east Dulwich drinks and it was swiftly removed. In my opinion east Dulwich forum is awesome and I view it more than Facebook which saying something. The characters on this forum really make my day with some good belly laughs and as a forest hill resident I've certainly been made to feel welcome which is something seeing as forest hill is where the builders and home help live.

    • Initially, when all the discussion took place at Bradbury some of existing building was to be demolished which meant that 3 flats would go but these residents would have to wait until new building erected to be housed. No indication has been given as to where people would be placed during building. I am glad that the tree is to remain - Bradbury residents contacted various environmental groups to lobby for tree to remain. I gather that there is likely to be a question of restricted views to be made by Wood Vale residents as 5 stories is significantly higher than current building.
