They didn,t used to be for grown ups they used to be for teenagers and early 20s, it's the whole grown up thing that has changed them. But despite my flaming I like the changes (Glastonbury early 90s again , no thanks) and they are great with kids - the family orientated ones anyway, wouldn't,t do a big one with mine

Late teens/early 20's are grown-ups!

I meant there weren't loads of families with kids there. At least not when I went. If people had kids they left them at home with babysitters.

Colin Firth's D'arcy in Pride and prejudice. Sexy? NOOOOO.

Gravity (the film not the mysterious force that pulls two objects towards each other).

Baked beans.

Robin Williams RIP, only thing he did that I enjoyed was Mork and Mindy.

Champagne.

Wotsits and Monster Munch.

Oh right. So anything more than a decade old is off limits? I'll have to watch myself.

Off limits?

How do people leap to such assumptions?

I can comment about how stuck in the past you are without it being off limits no?

On the other hand if you are giving out about ten year old specifics...you hsvent exactly got your finger on the pulse

Or maybe you are actually Louisa

So electronic gaming is a thing of the past as are PS4's etc? Maybe its you that doesn't have his finger on the pulse.

I find it funny how StraferJack still alludes to Parkdrive possibly being me.

On the topic of old people going to festivals I think it's incredibly cringe worthy when someone past a certain age engages in stuff aimed at younger people in a very awkward attempt to rekindle youth. Red face factor times 1000.

Louisa.

Christ above

I don't think park drive and Louisa are same person

I thought PD made a list of things which were not just slightly pass? but well out of date. And that's fine. That's ok. He is well entitled to do so

But in the interst of dialogue, humour, engagement I made a jolly play on how out of date the list was. No malice. Normally I would expect some "chuckles" back. But no. Dead eyed, humourless offence

But "out of order"??? Really.

Do give it a go.

    • A stellar win for the Greens in Gorton and Denton, no doubt. But by-elections are funny beasts. Labour's strength traditionally has been in its ground game. Legions of canvassers over many years in many seats usually means that they are best placed to 'get out the vote' on election day. I can't quite believe that the Greens have enough data, or people, to wrest control of the council from Labour.
