citizenED
I was chatting to some guy in the pub who thought he was unusual in having a German micro pig as a pet. Then he found out that his neighbour had this rare breed called a "woofmarkthedog".... woofmarkthedog
I know/knew a guy (an ex maudsley "client") in Southampton way SE5 who bought his 4 yr old son a pony and tried to keep it in the back yard of a tiny terrace house, he heard RSPCA had been tipped off so he hid the pony in Burgess park.It was a tragic but comic moment because no matter what anybody said the poor fella was sure no-one would find it there....All ended well luckily...... Mikecg
Lizards make great pets, although not as spectacular me and my older brother kept newts and frogs when we were young. Floating Onion
When I was young I just had to go into the back garden to find lizards. Not quite as spectacular as Tillie's though. Not very urban either. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5501-strange-urban-pets/#findComment-176677 Share on other sites
Peckhamgatecrasher
I confess, it was a sport when I was young to pull tails off lizards. Also fun to trap slowworms and adders. The snakes had their revenge when a friend got bitten by an adder.
