Bin there done that, got sand in me shoes and a sore bum from excessive camel riding.

Did not care for the food much either.

The place was full of shifty looking types trying to sell me historical paraphernalia.

Never went back so couldn't have rated it highly.

Did not like being badgered constantly when on the street.

Working a bit from home and also going round London. Today went to Mitcham then over to Hounslow and then over to Kentish Town and back.

When not working, gardening the balcony plants and wondering again how to stop squirrels ruining everything. The slate chips stopped working for them. :(

Going to friend's beach house Tues and Wed. HooraH!

As its The EDF and to try and keep up with some of our Jones's here, tomorrow I shall visit :

The Great Pyramid of Giza then move onto The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, then I'll take in The Statue of Zeus at Olympia, have a sojourn and see The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus.

In the afternoon I'll explore The Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus, investigate The Colossus of Rhodes and finish my day by inspecting The Lighthouse of Alexandria.

Not sure what I'll do on Sunday...

    • Yes, I saw my first of the season a few days ago and now I'm seeing lots of them!
    • Always prefer to support non chains - so many lovely places with good food to choose from with pleasant staff who know about customer service and sadly, non English which says a lot for our culture,   ? Does your broadbrush bias extend to Welsh, Scottish and N Irish/Irish waiting staff also or is it only non-native speakers that you admire unconditionally?! Hospitality staff are a varied lot, as are their moods and attitudes at any one given time.
    • I've noticed the same, thankfully they're too fluttery for my cat to catch. I've noticed the white ones always seem to travel in pairs?
    • Jersey Moths are about and have been for the last fortnight or so.
